face of white stone.

My silence.
My eyes fixed on an insignificant spot of the floor.
My shock.
My mom's screams.
My brother's sobs.
Her hands, on her face.
Hiding tears of unbelief.
My auntie's eyes,
pools of held back tears.

Did you know?
Did I tell you enough?
I knew.
I doubted.

You weren't supposed to die.

This is another pic I took from the bridge in front of Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome.
S.Pietro is on the right, the river Tevere reflects the warm lights of the city.


Again, a pic I took last November, enjoying my day-trip to Rome for a job interview.
Some memories and feelings I wasn't sharing with anyone because I was alone... but it actually felt good. Keeping company to myself, enjoying my desires, my slow pace.

I enjoyed the sunset on that bridge for as long as I wanted, and when that boat came along, I just felt it right.

Advice to all: Enjoy some "me time" once in a while, it feels good.



--- I know the quality isn't perfect. This pic is not the original I took. That one was deleted by my dying laptop. I had posted this one in an old blog of mine, so I downloaded it from the web again... that's why it's bad quality. But I wanted to share it anyway. :heart:
