Just so you know... I'm not dead.
Only very very busy with other stuff.
I go swimming almost every day, I give English private lessons, I play with the kitties downstairs but most of all I write.
I have posted the first chapter of what I'm writing here but I'm already done with the 9th.
I'm enjoying it because it is a challenge to write a story about two characters that you can't maneuvre as you please. They are not mine so they have their backgrounds and character and it is difficult, but rewarding, to make them do what you want without having them go completely out of character.
I won't post the other chapters here thought, because I don't feel this is the right place to submit this kind of prose. Follow this

Anyway, just updating this to explain why I haven't posted the photos I had promised. I'm just obsessed with this story... it flows in my mind like a movie and I just have to write it down. I can't do anything else until I'm done with it.

The exact spot of mine and Andrea's is... well... in the Sahara desert, just below Algeria. Or, if I switch the dates it still is in the Sahara desert, but more eastwards, in Sudan. Cool thing, since I'm an Egyptologist

I'm full of photos I want to submit, but I'm still withut photoshop so you still have to wait
But just to keep you informed I'll tell you what I've done recently, so you'll see what kind of photos I'll upload a s a i c.

• The exhibition I've been working on since January has finally opened, so I went to the opening event, which was a defilé and tried to take some pics while working with the models and the objects. The exhibition is hosted by the Natural Reserve Lo Zingaro, and will be open until Spring 2009. It includes objects, clothes and accessories entirely made of natural/vegetable fibres, with 0 impact on the environment.

• My best friend has graduated from university and I'll show you a couple of photos from the party (just a couple because I was too drunk to take more...)

• I went to the sea-side a couple of times and I'll have a pano up, and some photos of people on the beach (some boys jumping into the sea, some 4 year old girls scared of the waves and so on)

• some photos of my siamese-fishes, and a couple with my cats intently observing them

• a german duck that got lost and now lives on the beach - there's a fresh water source that mixes the sea water making it a good place for the duck to swim

• some scanned photos made with my father's analogic Contax (before it broke up)

• and - surprise - some photos of my Neko and of my best friend's dog.


I will go visit my boyfriend from the 16th to the 29th of July. I'll be online everyday though, because he still works so I'll have some time to work on my photos (he'll give me photosop) and upload them here.
I also hope to take some good pics while I'm at his place... we'll see.

And now... it's 1:30 pm... I need to go cook my lunch!
I'll come say hi before I'll leave on wednesday!
